The Hanwha Eagles, was founded as Korea’s 7th professional baseball club in 1985 and have since
recorded one champion ship (in 1999) and five second place finishes(including 1988,1989 and 1992).
It is a highly respected professional baseball team that features such star players as Jang Jong-Hoon,
Song Jin-Woo,Kim Tae-Gyun, Lee Bum-Ho and Ryu Hyun-Jin.

In 2011, ever since Han Dae-Wha took the helm as the team’s manager, the Hanwha eagles has been
plying a powerful game at a fast pace
Under Han Dae-Wha’s leadership, HanWha is expecting to make a great leap forward to become our
country’s top professional baseball club through constant transformation and innovation.
The club is committed to earning the trust and respect of its fans, and will be incorporating the Hanwha
